Applying for Scholarships!
In the final segment, Ian welcomed College Coach finance expert Michelle Clifton to talk about applying for scholarships. Is fall the best time to search for and apply for scholarships? Is it too late to wait until the fall of the senior year to apply? Is it better to search nationally for scholarships or to focus on local opportunities? How many scholarships should a student apply for? Michelle answered these questions for our listeners and provided a variety of examples of scholarships that are out there. And there are lots! Including a scholarship on rice – yes the kind you eat – in which students make a three minute video related to this culinary staple.
