Learn More About College Coach There is a scholarship (or many scholarships) out there for everyone. In this week’s Scholarship Spotlight, we look at the University of Maine Flagship Match. Students who attend an out-of-state public college or university generally pay more for college. Tuition is discounted for in-state students, and everyone else pays a higher tuition rate. A competitive, two-tiered merit scholarship program established at the University of Maine helps equal the playing field for strong students from other states who wish to attend the institution, guaranteeing the highest achievers that they will pay no more for UMaine than they would for their home state’s flagship university.
