Note that the below list is not exhaustive, but intended to provide a starting place for LGBTQ+ students to launch their scholarship searches. Your community resources, high school counseling office, general scholarship search sites like www.scholarships.com, and college websites can also provide useful scholarship information. The Point Foundation awards college scholarships and mentorship programs to help students meet their post-secondary education goals.Are you a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington? The 2025-2026 Application opens in October 2025.The League Foundation currently administers four different scholarship programs for graduating high school seniors supportive of the LGBTQ+ community.The Human Rights Campaign is a great resource for searching scholarships, fellowships and grants for LGBTQ+ students.The web links above bring you to each organization’s website. There, you can read a full description of each scholarship, its qualifications, and see the application deadline. If you find a scholarship that is a good fit for you, but the application has not opened yet for the 2025-2026 academic year, mark your calendar with the application date and come back to apply. It is important to remember, students are expected to report outside scholarships they receive to their college. Receipt of an outside scholarship may affect other financial aid awarded by the college.
