In this week’s Scholarship Spotlight, we look at the American Fire Sprinkler Association Scholarship. Does your child have an interest in engineering and fire safety? This scholarship can help students gain the training they need to educate and promote fire sprinkler systems. Some schools that have fire protection programs are: OSU Stillwater, UMD College Park, University of New Haven and WPI. There are a variety of career paths that you can explore in their field—fire protection engineer, fire sprinkler contractor and fire sprinkler fitters are just a few.
