In our School Spotlight this week, we take a closer look at Skidmore College. Don’t let Skidmore’s size, just 2,600 undergrads, fool you. As Shakespeare wrote, “And though she be but little, she is fierce.” An appropriate quote since Skidmore’s students and faculty follow a “creative thought matters” approach to learning which incorporates arts and culture into everything they do. Set in the quintessential college town of Saratoga Springs, New York, Skidmore students study a wide variety of programs including studio arts, social services and business. To learn more about Skidmore, check out our blog post on the College Coach Insider Blog at blog.getintocollege.com.
There are over 4,000 colleges and universities in the U.S. And while the media tends to focus on just a handful of schools, we at College Coach encourage students to think outside the box during their college selection process and explore a wide range of colleges. As such, we are highlighting a new college each week in our School Spotlight series. Check out the college below, along with the other posts in our series, and you may just stumble upon your dream school!
